Project overview

Over a two year period, Eastoli delivered a comprehensive fire hydrant upgrade program for Unitywater, assessing more than 1,200 existing hydrants to determine compliance with SEQ standards.

Delivering a safer network

The team carried out targeted upgrade works to bring assets in line with requirements, while also supporting the client in updating their GIS infrastructure with accurate asset data. Key achievements included efficient planning, procurement and execution to minimise customer disruption, the development of complex shutdown plans that improved installation efficiency, and the successful identification and recovery of buried or missing hydrants, helping to establish a safer, more reliable network for utilities and emergency services.

Throughout the project, Eastoli maintained clear communication and delivered outcomes with a high standard of quality, safety, and professionalism.”
